Consultation and Therapy for Therapists

You spend all of your time helping others

It’s your job. And you love it. And…

The imposter syndrome is starting to really wear on you… “if I just learn this one more technique…”

You feel burnt out and have less and less energy to give during sessions.

Being a therapist is lonely. You don’t have the support you feel like you really need.

Believe me. I get it.

I know how it feels. I’ve been there, really.

As therapists, those parts of us that feel like we should “have it all figured out” can have a hard time being vulnerable and sharing our struggles. These parts might fear judgment or fear feeling like an imposter.

But deep down, another part knows you could use some support…

Therapy for Therapists

You deal with trauma and other people’s problems every day. It is time for you to have a space to do the same.

I love working with therapists in their own therapy because I feel like it’s giving back tenfold. When you are taken care of, so many others will benefit.

The major modalities I use in therapy are Internal Family Systems, EMDR, ACT, and mindfulness-based psychotherapies. And since you’re already a therapist, I don’t even have to explain what these are – we can just jump right in, healing your different parts and helping you become more present, grounded, and attuned.

Professional Development for Therapists

I provide supervision for EMDR therapists and pre-licensed social workers in Maryland. My approach to supervision is strengths-based – you will never feel judged by me. I aim to create a safe environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, compassion, and competence.

EMDR Supervision

I am an EMDR Approved Consultant through EMDRIA and can provide individual and group hours for therapists working toward EMDR certification or Consultants-in-Training. I love teaching, and I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems Informed EMDR (a VERY cool technique that I am happy to share more about!) and EMDR 2.0, Flash Technique, and EMDR for grief and loss.

Supervision for Social Workers

There is a special place in my heart for fellow social workers, and I know the value and importance of the supervision experience. I have had good and bad supervision and work hard to create a positive experience where you feel safe, supported, and confident.

I am a Board Certified Clinical Social Work supervisor in Maryland and can provide both individual and group supervision hours for social workers working toward their clinical licensure.
